Odin Assemble is a small footprint PHP framework designed to help you create and maintain dynamic websites without a content management system.

Commercial Odin Assemble Elements

The following elements are available to members of our Odin Assemble Development group. Members may download any of the elements found here then modify it to your hearts content and finally install it by uploading it to your /elements directory.

Referencing any element HTML or PHP based is easy as well; use the filename without the extension surrounded by curly braces. More on referencing elements can be found in our Documentation.

  • Backup - A simple and easy backup element. Creates a PKZip archive of your /elements, /pages and /templates directories.
    Requires: phpzip.inc.php in your Odin Assemble root.
  • Discuss - A modified for use in Odin Assemble version of Paul Gareau's ( ), Simple Message Board.
  • Feed Read - A magpie based rss, rdf and atom display element.
  • Flush Cache - A useful element for flushing your cache via your web-site (instead of FTP).
  • Forward Url - Create forwarding links to external off-site resources while still maintaining internal looking links.
  • HotScripts - A modified for use in Odin Assemble version of Paul Gareau's ( ), HotScripts Display Class.
  • Random Contextual Image - Thanks to the Yahoo Developer API, this element identifies contextual images via Yahoo Image Search from your supplied search or search terms.
  • Search Feed - Use your Odin Assemble web-site to generate Search Feed revenue by using this element to include Search Feed based PPC listings.
  • Simple Counter - Add a file system based page counter. You can decide to count hits visibly or invisibly.
  • Simple Menu - A dynamic menuing solution for Odin Assemble that provides three types of menu displays; top level, current and bread crumb. All menus are 100% configurable through CSS.
  • Site Tree - Using the sme data structure as Simple Menu, Site Tree creates as it's title implies a navigation site tree.
  • Yahoo Search - Another Yahoo Developer based element, here we've added Yahoo Web Search. Use this element to search Yahoo web listings through your Odin Assemble based web-site.
  • Yahoo Style Link Directory - Maintain a Yahoo-style link directory, you can see example of this element in action at Nuah: Directory.
